Ask HN: Why don't OSes automatically download apps/features that you might like?
If the OS notices that some apps or features it downloaded and installed for you are not being used, it might remove them and instead download and install other apps or features it thinks you might like.
In this case, features could include third-party utilities that integrate smoothly with the operating system or apps.
I don't see much value / most people would be annoyed by auto installs...
They just want everything to integrate smoothly and improve over time based on their usage patterns.
