Hi, I'm Jeevan. I built this platform to document my journey learning electronics from first principles.

One of the biggest hurdles in learning hardware is the need for physical components to experiment with. Unlike computer science where all you need is a laptop, electronics usually requires a lab.

My goal is to bridge that gap by building a sandbox where anyone can simulate and experiment with circuits realistically. These interactive lessons are the result of my own learning process.

    Very cool!

However, I have a dumb question (as someone who doesn't know about electronics): how is it different from a YouTube lecture where the same content is demonstrated with real objects or with animation?

I'm not sure if the interactivity in these examples add much value to learning, as the buttons only serve as 'show me the next animation'.

If the eventual goal is to build a virtual sandbox that models the real world more closely, then I think this is a great first step and a great idea!

    The very first step says...

"Click Rub with Silk to strip the fluid from the rod."

...but the button text is GENERATE FRICTION, not Rub with Silk.
